Cindy Anthony-She Dumped Oprah!

Cindy Anthony claims that in a text message she sent to WKMG reporter Jessica D’Onofrio, she claims that she is the one whom dumped Oprah Winfrey not the other way around. Cindy Anthony says to her something to this effect:  oh BTW (means by the way) I cancelled Oprah b/c (means because) of Integrity. hmmmmmmm……Really?

Oprah’s people say that based on the fact that Cindy and George Anthony made an appearance and participated in an in-depth interview on CBS’s Early Show, and other programs they decided not to move forward with the interview at this time. Oprah’s people were asked by D’Ononfrio if this was true and her staff told her that there would not be any further comments at this time.

Well whoever called it off- I don’t care. I am happy that Oprah’s stage will not be graced by the likes of these two. I would welcome their comments and an interview long after the case has been tried and the sentencing done. I think that at this time they have nothing to share or add. I think that this is about money, period! 

I know that this writer was out on e-mail, twitter, and Oprah’s direct web-site trying to get people to ask Oprah to dump the show. I think there was enough of a public outcry about this, and Oprah is just too good! Period.

Death Penalty for Ice Cold Casey

Well, in a stunning release just late yesterday, prosecutors in the Casey Anthony murder case put the death penalty back on the table. Prosecutors stating “aggravating circumstance” as part of the reason for the new movement in the case. I think that all along the prosecution team had enough for the murder 1 charge. In the state of Florida and around the United States it is considered extra heinous if one kills a child that is under the age of twelve. And going along with that would also be a premeditated determination. In other words if the adult plotted and planned for the murder to take place; would also be considered a circumstance which is considered aggravating.

To this writer, the October date for this case cannot get here soon enough. The ice princess Casey with the ice cold heart, could cop a plea and help save her own life. Jose Baez in most states in the United States does not have enough experience again for this kind of case. All will wonder whom he will bring to the table to aid in the fight to save Casey’s lowly life. Will we see the reemergence of Terry Lenamon? Or will the Jose Beaz bring a different gun in?

Ice princess Casey has her days numbered; if she chooses to remain quiet and not cop to a plea, she will have the choice of a needle and the electric chair. Florida still has an active electric chair!  Perhaps her parents can get through to her, I think not only would the pleas hasten the length of the trial, it may be easier for all involved. It is hard to know that any one state would have a woman on death row. Especially one that is still so young. What a terrible life Casey has led. Her life involved cheating, stealing, lieing,drinking, drugging, passing herself around, and finally murder! Not too productive a citizen. The little life of her child Caylee was cut down in a way too short time and in a manner that no one should ever have realized.

I cannot help but to think that, that little baby trusted her mommy and she probably(I hope) smiled at her mommy before she did the deed. I am hoping little Caylee did not know what was coming. It would be awful to think that the child “woke up” inside the trunk, or that she “woke up” and was inside the bags already! I hope and pray that it did not go down that way.  I think that Casey probably loved her, but her mind became so twisted and couldn’t see past the fact that she would be “tied down” only for a short while. These little children grow up, they are not little forever. Life for Casey could only have gotten easier. Look her parents obviously loved and took care of Caylee all the time. Too bad Casey went down the wrong path. She made many of the wrong choices in life; perhaps she can make one great good one by choosing to accept a plea and let us all breathe a sigh of relief. She can rot in jail and we can know exactly why she did what she did.

Next chapter in the story is the Cindy and George Anthony road-show, the rumor is that  Oprah will be hosting the pair in early May. I’m going to the web-page to complain- we do not think that they deserve a platform as high as the one we place on the Oprah show!

Cindy Anthony-Emotional Show

Cindy and George Anthony prove to be on the defensive during the deposing of the Zenaida Gonzalez defamation suit. In fact, the interviews ended in Cindy storming out and claiming she’s done!   What else is new? The Anthony’s wanting full control over something they should have no control over. This is a family that has endured alot starting with the  losing of their granddaughter to a murderous death, then in a very public way ; the memorializing of the baby and lastly most important is the ongoing case of their daughter who is in jail and on trial for that murder. Wow, that is a lot for any one!  So one could expect a slight bit of edginess of the part of Cindy right?

My commentary is the full out attack of anyone that gets in their way(Cindy and George) and the fact that anyone can be subject to those attacks! Cindy has found anyone that disagrees with the thought that Casey is innocent is going to be her victim. It may be a defense mechanism for her, but ultimately she feels that when she can control even just the tiniest bit of anything, it is just a bit of vindication. And she does not care what anyone thinks of her.  But ultimately could this be used against her and the plight of her own daughter’s case.

At the deposition brought as a counter-suit from the charges levied by Casey against Zenaida Gonzalez, Cindy showed her true colors. Both Cindy and George were considered very hostile, combative, and this is caught on tape. Cindy at one point even cursed several times at the lawyers conducting the deposition questioning, and culminating in Cindy walking out on the proceedings. Her personality was mean and she was skirting most of the answers. George made several laughable comments to the lawyers and at one point seemed he was going to explode but his calm head prevailed. He even apologized to Zenaida Gonzalez and said he hoped he would be able to shake her hand in the end of everything.

Going back to Cindy, she chawed her gum and swigged hard on her water bottle along with smirking as questions were asked of her. Upon entry into the office of the lawyers, Cindy set up her own video camera to tape the lawyers asking her the questions. Most lawyers would not advise their clients to tape the lawyers, but it seems like Mr. Conway is not in control of his clients.  At several points, we could tell Cindy was playing for the cameras themselves. She did some despicable things, like saying directly to Zanaida Gonzalez, that she wasn’t as pretty as the description that her daughter gave her, and as she pointed and shouted at Zanaida that she didn’t lose her job!

In the end many discrepancies were noted between Cindy and George’s deposition answers. This will most likely help Ms Gonzalez’s case. It is unfortunate that Cindy did not show the colors of a classy and educated woman, instead she showed everyone that she is taking a hard-nose stance and that she unequivocally believes her daughter Casey’s story about “Zanny the Nanny”! She was mean and cold and often her mannerisms and character reminded me so much of Casey on tape! And then I remembered that the apple does not fall far from the tree!

Moving Memorial For Caylee Anthony

A few notes on Caylee Anthony’s memorial. Today a sorrowful event was held in Orlando at The First Baptist Church. The church seats up to 5,ooo. Attendance at today’s memorial was approximately 12oo.  The attendees that came were compassionate and were truly there to say good-bye to the little girl who has stole our hearts.  Caylee Marie Anthony just 2 years old when she passed away in a traumatic way.

No one can fathom what this family has endured unless this has happened to you or your family. For George, Cindy, and Lee my heart goes out to you all. Your pain was very prevalent today as you spoke and we wept. They claimed to be united and to stand strong. And they need to, the road ahead is long and is filled with quite a bit of anguish.

The tribute today was kind and heartfelt. The family spoke one by one with Lee leading off. He thanked everyone and asked us to fill our hearts with patience and grace. He asked us that whatever we take from today, whatever it is that we seek to pay tribute to Caylee. He mentioned the initals CMA only. He did not say Caylee’s name nor did he say Casey’s name. He kissed three times the bracelet that he wore all while saying C M A.

George was wearing pride on his sleeve as he spoke of his little granddaughter. He beamed as he spoke of Caylee’s presence still being around. He was Jo-Jo to her. He cherished the times that he had with her. He remembered fondly the popcorn they ate together, and the fun she was with her beads ans sunglasses. And he reflected with smiles as he told the gathering how Caylee loved her vegetables! She was his “sunshine” and he taught her the song “You are my sunshine”. He also mentioned in Gods heaven he will be with her again.

Then George shifted to Casey and asked for prayers saying she deserved prayers. He asked the gathering to write her letters and he petitioned the group to not pass judgement. And to ask for hope and prayer for all of us.  He received a standing ovation.

Then Cindy came up and remembered as well the day that Casey came to her and told her she was going to be a grandmother. She reflected that Caylee got up in the morning smiling. She told of the tea parties that Caylee would have. And mentioned her dress up play, and her love of music, and loved to go into the pool with Caylee. She expressed that those were some of her favorite times. She also said good night to the stars and moon. She too shifted to Casey and thanked Casey for giving her the gift of Caylee. Cindy said she will miss the love that was shared between Caylee and Casey. She stated that she got her beauty and compassion from Casey. And finally that Caylee knew that she was loved. And that Cindy loved all of her children unconditionally. At her end of eulogy she asked the group to do something positive; to make a difference. She too got a standing ovation.

The music and the flowers were beautiful. The memorial was pretty and it was heart wrenching to see a family lost in misery. So sad that things had to turn out so bad. I wish that they would not have had to endure such awfulness. I would wish this on no one.

Turning to comments made by Jose Baez in a small press conference the day before, Casey stated that she cannot stop what her parents are doing. Today during the time of the memorial the prison officials were going to allow Casey time out to see the memorial, she did refuse, and visited with Jose Baez during that time. I am sure that it may have been watched via his computer?

It is too bad that Casey refused to watch the memorial. It is too bad that she did not want to pick music or flowers. It’s too bad that Casey felt so cold. In this the very last time to say good bye to the child we all have come to love.

Thank you Anthony family for the memorial. We’re so sorry for your loss in so many ways. God Bless you all in your journey ahead. Thank you too for giving this child a day full of grace and dignity.

Casey Caught with “Contraband”!

Yesterday, supposedly Jose Baez dropped off clothes to the jail for Casey Anthony. I’m not sure why Casey Anthony would be receiving clothes other than dressing for court, what else does she need?  Inmates have clothes and  socks. Guards though, came up with an interesting find, inside one of the socks was a purple “find Caylee” bracelet! Did it get there by accident or was it placed there?

Perhaps it was a message from mamma. You know how moms stick little notes or goodies inside their childs’ lunchbox, perhaps Cindy didn’t do that all those growing up years, or perhaps it was just a gentle little way Cindy chose to let Casey know she’s thinking of her or maybe Cindy wants her to think about Caylee. Or worse and much more sinister-perhaps it was a code for something!

Well, Jose Baez knows better as a lawyer, but he was admonished and the jail “let it go” saying that it is forbidden for lawyers or anyone to be giving gifts of anything to the inmates. The bracelet was confiscated.

In other developments regarding the Anthony case/ or Anthony family: George is voluntarily staying in the Halifax hospital on his own volition, he will check out of there when he is ready.

Jose Baez still talking about how he feels pressure that the press and people that are dispelling rumors and saying “bad” things about him. He hates that his children will see/hear things. Although he says he is just doing his job, and trying to do it well.  Blah..Blah….Blah…same stuff and different day!

No word from Cindy or Lee Anthony. Caylee still sits in funeral home and no plans have been made for funeral/memorial service. The defense is done with the second autopsy.

And finally, Baez and his team is back out in the scene of the crime, as his motion was granted on friday. I am personally wondering why the team did not go out there right away after prosecution was done. It seems strange that he(Baez) claims that his botanists wanted to look at the spot where Caylee once was so long after everyone is done looking at the scene. Hopefully the prosecution has someone out there with those people, to oversee what is taking place. If any evidense will be found on the part of the defense it will be extremely suspicious!

Perhaps there will be enough pressure from Baez to Casey that she may come clean and confess. Here’s hoping!

Update on George Anthony!

Breaking news update on George Anthony.

He was reported missing and was found in a Daytona Beach Hotel room about one hour ago! His condition is not known. Florida has an act that the state can hold an individual in a facility if they appear to be a threat to themselves. How long the state can hold him is unclear as well.  A report is out that states Jose Baez/ or person from his legal staff told Casey Anthony what had transpired. No word as to her condition either. Nothing has been reported about who phoned in the missing person call or to Cindy Anthony’s condition!

It was reported that text messages were being recieved from George stating something to the effect ” that my granddaughter is dead, Casey is in jail and that George wanted to end it!”   Shame on you Casey Anthony!  Look at all your handy work!

No one wins here! This is very sad! Unless George would no longer be able to testify??! Then this would be criminal! We will see what else will transpire in this case, as soon as more reports come out!  Signing off. 12:04 PM est. time.

Caylee Anthony Case Quiet

Until the next proceedings or until the next news leak of some kind; it is a low time in regard to the Caylee Anthony case. The Christmas holiday has just past, and if you will remember Cindy Anthony was heading out to purchase gifts for the beloved Caylee. Holidays are a time for happiness and family gatherings and most of all (in my mind anyway)hope. Hope for the future to be brighter, and full of prosperity. As all of  the United States  citizens will accept Barack Obama into his presidental bid; we beg for hope. We gasp for change. And we stand in awe of anyone who can provide us with these things.

The Anthony family has faced and will continue to face adversity. Other families have done this; but perhaps not in such a public way. Signs of hope were Cindy and George attending services together. The release of Caylee’s remains to be memorialized privately by a family in grief. Their loss is heavy. The loss of their granddaughter, and simply the loss of a daughter. The Anthony’s need to take a great deal of time with the process of this grief in order to be strong enough to face the trial of their daughter. I will hope that they will be able to deal with the load they will bear.

In other news, or perhaps fodder for rumor other bloggers have posts stating that nine out of ten people in a conducted TV survey knew Casey Anthony’s name than did that of Joe Biden vice president elect! Also from news web-sites approximately nine out of ten people also thought that Casey Anthony was guilty! Go figure!

This is all before this girl goes on trial!  I believe she has certain rights under our constitution, but even I think that her story is unbelievable and most likely she is guilty of the crime of killing her child. I think that the news has done a fine job reporting the case, and as we get closer to the trial date, the news shows will start again. Why this case? I think because it tugs at all of our heartstrings. It provides us with the helpless feelings where we want to hug our own children closer and we all realize how precious life really is! I know the Casey/ Caylee Anthony case has made me reflect and be thankful that I am who I am. I am also thankful that I  had parents and a support family around me all the years that I raised my little ones. For the brief moments when parents lose their tempers, when really a great big hug will do. After all our children are just us as little people!

Funeral Plans for Caylee Anthony

A make-shift memorial for Caylee had been set up outside the Anthony home as well as by the wooded lot that Caylee’s skeletal remains were found. Ever growing are the many well wishers as are all the gifts that are being brought to the memorials. Cindy and George Anthony thought a nice gesture to them deserved  an even nicer gesture back, so the Anthony’s have taken all stuffed animals and dolls to  the Orlando Union Mission, where some 90  homeless children will receive a gift for Christmas. The homeless children range in age from the youngest at about 18 months to age 10 or so.  I thought that this was a nice thing to do. What would become of all the things left there anyway?  They will become weathered and unusable if left on the street. Perhaps this will become the Anthony’s new mission: helping the homeless children. I know that I would feel some burden if I missed the mark so much with my own daughter that the end result was this!  My grief would be overwhelming and I would have to devote my life to something just so I could live with myself!

I know that’s alot to say, because some who have left the stuffed animals have mixed feelings on the Anthony’s giving them away.  I think the person would feel bad seeing their token of love become dirty and torn in shards. Just think of the stuffed animal bringing a smile to those who felt “Santa” would not come for them especially since the economy is hard this year.

It has been reported that Casey Anthony will be banned from any funeral proceedings that will take place. Unless ordered by a judge, an Orange County  Corrections spokesperson commented that he could not imagine where someone accused of murder has gone  out in the past to see the body of the victim.

According to Brad Conway, the lawyer for Cindy and George Anthony, When the Orange County Medical Examiner releases the body, an autopsy will then be done by the defense team. Then and only then will Cindy and George Anthony proceed with any funeral arrangements or way to memorialize Caylee. Mr. Conway stated that a trust fund will be set up for Caylee’s funeral plans. With the average funeral cost being $6000.00, (and that is the bear minimum- fancy headstone aside) the Anthony’s may not have it, to pay it. And any death benefits(if there are any)will be hard to collect because the individuals death is result of crime and murder. And no benefits can be collected until death certificates can be issued. Whatever the plans may be. Whatever the way funds will be collected. Poor Caylee deserves a day of dignity. I hope that she will be able to get it and soon! With the reported knowledge that Cindy and George Anthony have been to church services recently is a good sign!

Time To Give Caylee Respect

The enviable has happened, the little girl lost for six months has now been added to the sad statistic list of murdered children. It is awful that anyone should pass on at the hands of any angryy individual. But even more horrific is this when they child has been lost by the hand of the one the child trusted; its own mother! Sadly, Caylee is not the only one this has happened to. Many children die each year by the hand of their parent, and some of those children may even face years of torture by that same person.  Sometimes it’s all too much to handle!

At this point in time, it is time to revere the little short life of Caylee Anthony. According to Cindy and George Anthony’s lawyer, Brad Conway, the Anthony’s can now rest knowing that Caylee is safe now. And they choose to believe that Caylee  is like an angel that protects missing children and their families. Perhaps in order to heal and get on with life as well as you can, Cindy and George can try to put their energies into helping others.

The Anthony’s have not made any plans as of yet for little Caylee because they are afraid that it would turn into a media circus. And they are probably right! The good intentions of others, and well-meaning individuals could create havoc and even impede the event. I think that the Anthony’s are very entitled to grieve in private and bury one of their own in utmost privacy and grace. What is more, little Caylee deserves just that. At least one quiet day filled only with the dignity that God could provide.  Perhaps somewhat later the Anthony’s could plan a public-type of memorial for all those that wish to pay their respects.

Caylee has been adopted into the hearts of strangers by way of TV, news, documentary shows, and now it is time for the media to step aside and let the little one and her family have time by themselves. And then come Jan. 5, 2009 (or later as the trial is delayed even at this point) put out all the media blitz as we all will watch the trial of the century, as Casey Anthony is put in the court room!

She will be fair game, and she will learn what it means to be put to torture as the TV cameras are shoved in her face as we all will listen to the details of what an awful cold-hearted soul she is/and was!   And perhaps through it all Casey will think of the beautiful little child Caylee was/is.

I guess that is all we can ask for. It would be great if she threw herself to floor and asked her parents and her maker to forgive her! Oh wait that will only be in the movie that will premiere on Lifetime, right?

Caylee Anthony DNA Confirmed!

The heavily wooded lot that was only approximately fifteen houses away from Cindy and George Anthony’s home, has yielded more than just weeds and marshy-land, first the skull and then the trail of bones scattered about.

Today Dr. Jan Garavaglia has confirmed that there is a genetic match to the DNA for that of missing Caylee Anthony!

Sad, and very bittersweet. All the hard work of police and FBI has paid off. Their work offered more than just clues and evidence; their hard work will offer Cindy and George Anthony some dignity to little Caylee. It will help to know in their hearts that every effort was made to gather everything that they could to bury the baby in the most complete way.

The Orange County worker that discovered the “bag” in which the little girl’s skull was found is said to have made other attempts to report suspicious bag out there. He was at the press conference today and his identity is revealed as Roy Kronk. No matter happens as the story ensues; we are all happy that he did go back into the brush to relieve himself, and therefore stumbling upon poor baby Caylee.

Jose Baez has been notified of the confirmation that the bones were that of Caylee, he would not comment on how Casey Anthony has taken the news. And for that matter do we care?
